Some would say that the best way to enjoy chocolate is with your eyes closed, so that nothing distracts from the sublime taste and textural sensations. Others would argue that we feast first with our eyes; either way, our creations will not disappoint.
Each chocolate centre, or ganache, prepared by hand, is a slow emulsion of fine chocolate, cream and perhaps a little butter, and fresh-made purees or cold infusions.
We don’t produce large consignments of our chocolates; all of our fruit purees are made by hand, not imported from afar in heat-treated vacuum packs, and we pay special attention to maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
While we aim for consistency in all that we do, each small batch may be subtly different – such is the character of a natural product, but we do blend, taste and season to maintain constancy and excellence.
We are tired of cheap looking plastic boxes, stickers and ribbons, poorly packaged chocolates that sit like sardines, or bounce around in flimsy wrapping until they resemble something from a cheap Sunday Market.
Our latest limited edition boxes are neither cheap nor cheap-looking, with soy-based inks, biodegradable card and paper and recyclable interiors, they are designed to be different, to keep your chocolates safe, to give as lavish gifts, or to keep for a deserved personal indulgence.
